Did you know that only 10% of people who have a fitness-related, New Year’s resolution actually follow through? Crazy right?
But what if I told you that if you want to get in shape for 2025, you shouldn’t wait until New Year’s to start exercising? Instead of being part of the 10%, start now!
So here are a few reasons why you make that jump and get start exercising now:
-
Boost the Immune System:
Studies have shown that regular exercise improves immune functions and wards off illnesses. Now I’m not saying that every exercise session must be gruelling but add some routine and make time for it and you should notice a difference.
-
Mental Health & Managing Stress:
I may be showing my age a bit here but I remember a time where a stressful day at work would result in a couple of beers being sunk in your local bar. That era is now over and you will find that most people will go gym or attend their favorite class instead. And this is because of the endorphins you release, reducing anxiety and stress while giving that much needed reset we all sometimes need.
-
Increase Energy Levels:
By maintaining routine. we actually increase our stamina levels in the long term. And by having increased stamina levels, we can increase productivity as well which will show in our studies, work tasks etc.
-
Lower Health Risks:
In relation to our previous note on boost the immune system, regular exercise can help lower the risk of conditions like diabetes and heart disease. So if you are at risk of these and think about attending the gym. Remember you are investing in your health, probably the best investment you will ever make as well.
-
Holiday Mode:
Some of us love a sunny beach instead of consistent rain (well over here in London anyways), but rather than having to set a target to lose weight for an upcoming retreat away with friends and family. Why not start now, get ahead and start to lose inches early on. In my experience, client lose and KEEP off the weight once a solid routine has been established. Don’t leave it too late, start now!
What’s your reason to exercise? Would love to know so pop me an email! In the meantime, if you need anything, please hesitate to ask!
Have a great day everyone
