Fasted cardio is a huge debatable subject with trainers.
Some trainers like it and others refuse to promote it to their clients as a workout program because, in their opinion, is not a healthy way to lose the fat.
I implement fasted cardio with all my clients including myself because I see what it does to my transformation in the positive.
What is fasted cardio?
Fasted cardio is done in a fasted state where your stomach is empty, your insulin levels are low and it is based how your body processes the food you eat. It works with the insulin levels in your body.
Fasted cardio will turn your body into a fat burning machine.
The main reason why it turns you into a fat burning machine is because you are training when insulin levels are low which is the state you have to be in if you want to burn the fat. Its a recommended that fasted cardio be done for 30 minutes before your first meal and before hitting the gym.
This is one of the tricks of the trade from trainers to help their clients achieve fat loss in an expeditious manner. It will, however, allow you to lose 20% more fat but you also have to remember that everyone is different and you may burn more fat than someone else and have faster results. You do have to remember though that we are not all build the same so results are going to be different from person to person.
The best cardio recommended HIIT
HIIT or high intensity interval training is the cardio that most athletes, fitness models and bodybuilders like to add to their training programs.
So, the next time you create a training workout or have someone create it for you, add fasted cardio to it and observe your results, you will not be disappointed.
