At some point in our lives every single one of us will experience back pain.
Nine times out of ten, it will just ‘GO’. This will usually happen when you bend over to pick something up. The reason for this is that in the flexed, or bent position, your back is at it’s weakest. The ligaments and tendons of the posterior part of your spine are weaker then the ligaments running down the front of your spine.
Number One Tip For Curing Back Pain
When you go see your GP about this they will tell you to rest and avoid moving to much. This is one of the worst things you can do as the back will lock up. You want to keep as mobile as possible and perform one crucial exercise; the cobra stretch. This involves lying on the floor on your front. Then placing your hands so your thumbs are just under your shoulders, gently push up and away from the floor. You want to relax your glutes, your bottom, and keep your hips in contact with the floor. Raise up as high as you can. By doing this you put your spine into extension and will help push discs back into place. Hold for 5-8 seconds and repeat 4-5 times twice a day.
Back pain is actually very simple to fix once you know the cause. This cause is the hard part. As it takes months to get MRI scans but with some careful tests it can be pinpointed and cured.
I hope you find this helpful.
