Making a habit of your diet
If you’re like me, you’re juggling work and life priorities like a professional circus act. So, everyday is a new balance between what you had originally planned to do and what you’re ACTUALLY going to do. Your nutrition journey is a part of that balance too. It’s ultimately up to you to have things in place to ensure that nutrition doesn’t come off your daily to-do list. In this blog you will learn some salmon lunch recipes.
Also, one thing that I love to suggest to clients is to get into the habit of meal prepping. I know that the idea of meal planning can seem overwhelming and out of reach. So this is why having a coach to help you along can help get you started with this skill.
When you’re just starting it’s always best to start with habit building. One week you could focus on having cooked protein on hand, be it plant or animal based. Then, next week maybe the new focus could be on having one more fresh vegetable option on hand. Adopting this growth mindset will take you far and fast, before you know it you’ll be meal prepping without giving it much thought.
For example, having pre-cut salmon helps me make quick and easy meals. Therefore it’s a staple that I keep in my fridge every week. It’s easy to cut/seal ahead of time and thaws fast. Pan frying takes 10 minutes, max. Also, add in some pre-cut veggies that you’re set to go for the afternoon.
