As a personal trainer, I do put myself under a lot of pressure to remain eating a balanced and clean diet!
My lifestyle hasn’t always been like that and for many years I struggled with being overweight, stress eating, emotionally eating you call it! I also have 2 young children who have very different diets, one is very fussy and will only eat certain foods and the other who used to eat quite well is starting to get a little fussy as well. When I first started my weight loss journey I would end up making 3 lots of lunches and dinners and it became really expensive and tiring and sometimes the easiest option was just to eat what the kids ate, mostly things you could just put in the oven quickly.
However as I got more serious with my weight loss I stopped doing that and really put my foot down on how I would eat. I started off by doing Hello Fresh which is the meal box subscriptions that come with recipes and just the right amount of ingredients so there is no waste etc. I got on really well with this! I was losing weight steadily but then did hit a plateau. I had got down from 16 stone to 12.5 stone and although this was amazing and I felt amazing it wasn’t my goal weight of 11 stone.

The Lemon detox diet plan is for 14 days in which you are not allowed to consume any solid food. All you can consume is the lemon prepared detox drink that includes lemonade and salt water flush. I stopped doing the detox after 14 whole days, and started to break back into food as instructed.

After completing the detox I weight 10.9 stone and literally had no cravings for anything that wasn’t a balanced and wholesome meal. I had put my body through such a huge task getting rid of all the toxins and crap I had put into it all these years and I wasn’t willing to do that again. I eventually started eating normal and I did put back on some weight about 5 pounds. However I was happy with this weight as it was near my initial goal weight and I was able to maintain this by eating properly and exercise.

25 ml Pure Water 20-30 ml.
freshly squeezed lemon juice
20ml Maple syrup (Organic)
1/10 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Mix all the above ingredients well, and your drink is ready. You can make this drink for whole day use as well by storing in the refrigerator.
Pure water is recommended as impurities can lead to side effects. Mineral water is not suitable for use. You can go for cold, normal or warm water, but water should be warmed naturally not in the microwave.
