Born in Brooklyn, New York.
Lakei's fitness career started in 2002 in California as a personal trainer /sales
representative for 24 hr fitness.
Returning to the east coast in 2003, he then begin working for Crunch fitness as sales
manager & assisted the opening of the 1st 24 hour location in Brooklyn.
Eager to return into personal training, he joined Equinox fitness in the summer of 2006.
After a successful training career with Equinox, Lakei then joined the Equinox
management team.
Between 2009-2012, lakei hired & trained some of the best personal trainers at two of
the most successful Equinox locations, Tribeca & Soho.
In early 2013,  Lakei joined The Wright Fit as The Director of Select Services.
He went on to help develop the Wellness programs at 15 Central Park West, The Frank
Ghery Building at 8 Spruce Street,  and 150 Charles Street.
