Are you interested in Embodiment Counseling services? What is Embodiment Counseling? Embodiment is "the representation or expression of something in a tangible or visible form". In Embodiment Counseling, we use the body as a tangible resource to utilize as we heal. In private counseling sessions with KymBre, Embodiment practice is woven in with the Empowered Hearts Self Healing methodology. We explore the area of where the wound and trauma happened, the ways we avoid and protect against the pain from the trauma, explore using our bodies as a source for feeling into our experiences, and move into meeting our deeper underlying needs. The Empowered Hearts framework was downloaded by my teacher and colleague Katie Gray, author of The Empowered Hearts self healing methodology. The Empowered Hearts work is about opening our hearts to radical honesty and acceptance. Too often we hide behind shame, feeling completely alone. In addition to talking, we will also work with breath, movement, visualization, & embodiment practice. I ask that you show up with honesty, authenticity, and the willingness for it to be messy. I will assign homework, as you are training to do the self healing work on your own. In Embodiment Counseling, we use the body as a tangible resource to utilize as we heal. We explore the area of where the wound and trauma happened, the ways we avoid and protect against the pain from the trauma, explore using our bodies as a source for feeling into our experiences, and move into meeting our deeper underlying needs. I feel inspired to share with you all what I’ve been learning for the past year. Many of you know, a couple of weeks ago, I had the chance to dive in deep with my team at a retreat in Mexico.
