While I have been a relatively active person my whole life playing sports since I was a kid, I didn't start piecing together what a fitness lifestyle looked like for me until after my first Well Visit with my doctor after having kids that wasn't an OBGYN. After pointing out my numbers weren't where the Dr. would have liked I realized I needed to make some changes. I have also had chronic back and knee issues since High School to contend with and take into consideration as I approached this new lifestyle. After trial and error, lockdowns, and then educating myself and getting myself results that I hadn't thought possible I wanted to be able to help others get results too. I personally enjoy a more bootcamp/EMOM style of training with a healthy dose of stretching. I consider myself a foodie, and I am a firm believer that food doesn't have to be bland for you to get results. Diet is 80% of the equation, no doubt, you can't out train what goes on in the kitchen. I also know that a fitness lifestyle is about sustainability, and you can't sustain bland and huge restrictions in your diet for long term success. I also have gained a working understanding of adjusting ones diet with my husband who was diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes and having to figure out what tweaks we needed to make and what works best for him and his blood sugar levels to work towards getting his Diabetes into remission. If you are looking for someone to help encourage and equip you on this fitness journey I would love to help!
