You are looking for a change in your life. Maybe the switch in your head finally clicked. I too had that switch go off in my head six years ago. I quit a lot of shit; cold turkey. There’s no looking back. Often times I can’t believe what I have done. This isn’t meant as a brag. People asked me how I did it, I did it by doing one thing at a time with consistency over a long period of time.
I know what you’re experiencing, I’ve been there. I’ve done that. I’m still doing it. My biggest fear is going back. I don’t wanna be that person anymore. Maintaining is the scariest part of this journey. Don’t do it alone. Let’s do it together. I got you.
We don’t think we deserve good things. I am here to tell you, you ab-so-fucking-lutely do!
As a busy mom, managing a household, mostly on my own, I decided I needed to change for myself, first. Secondly, for my kids, henceforth known as my minions.
I have always loved activities, such as biking, walking, swimming, and exercise. Like many moms, I gave too much of myself without filling my own cup.
In 2018, I decided to change:
-- No more bullshit
-- No more excuses
-- No more giving too many fucks
From here on out, my approach is “Let’s see how fucking far I can go.”
And yes, I’m ready to see you do the same. Are you?
If your answer is, I don’t know. That’s completely OK. I didn’t know either. I just started doing the work. It’s when I fell in love with lifting really heavy shit. No one else could do it for me, I had to do it on my own. It was the one thing only for me by me.
I tell myself and my minions when they’re ready to go home, “we are already out here doing it. It takes less effort to do a little bit more than start over. Let’s do a little bit more.” “Ok mom, you’re right. Let’s go.”
I openly discuss issues, concerns, and fears with my minions, my friends, my family. It takes a village. Sometimes our village will change and again that is OK. I got you.
You will love working with me if you enjoy swearing, bad jokes and extreme levels of growth. Emphasis on swearing and jokes. I won’t pull you. You have to put the effort into yourself but I’ll be your biggest fucking cheerleader (and that’s not a fat joke).
