Premiere Cincinnati In-Home Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach
From a challenging bout with asthma that led to home-schooling to a transformative journey marked by 15+ full marathons and countless long-distance trail runs (including the Grand Canyon Rim-2-Rim-2-Rim and a 100-miler), my path to wellness has been both personal and profound. My academic pursuits in Exercise Science and Biomechanics, guided by a family legacy of care, underscore a commitment to a truly holistic, compassionate approach.
I believe in meeting you exactly where you are—honoring your unique challenges, movement limitations, and personal history. Over the years, I’ve supported individuals with back, shoulder, knee, or hip pain, hip/knee/shoulder replacements, spinal fusions, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, limb amputations, and more. My experience extends from everyday fitness enthusiasts to high school, college, and professional athletes—always with the same dedication: to listen, use evidence-based strategies, and empower you to reach your goals at a sustainable pace.
During my tenure at a popular weight loss platform, I served not only as a health coach but also as a mentor to new coaches. Through one-on-one coaching in that role and in my own practice, I’ve helped individuals lose up to 250 pounds while reducing stress, shifting away from all-or-nothing thinking, improving their relationships with food and themselves, and expanding self-care and overall self-awareness.
In sessions, I pride myself on creativity and the ability to adapt in real-time. If you ever experience unexpected discomfort—be it pain, dizziness, or uncertainty—rest assured I can modify movements on the spot so you can continue safely and confidently. And because lasting change is about more than physical workouts alone, I blend mindset coaching and compassion into every plan.
Outside of coaching, I love capturing life’s moments through photography, which reminds me that each journey is beautiful and worth celebrating. At Wellness with Joshua, a fusion of science, empathy, creative adaptation, and a zest for life drives every interaction.
